I’m not running to climb a party ladder or defend a platform written somewhere else. I’m running because too many people feel talked at instead of listened to, managed instead of represented. I believe government should answer to the people who live here, not party leadership, donors, or talking points.
I’ll show up. I’ll listen. I’ll tell the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. And I’ll vote based on what this district needs, not what a party expects. I’m not wearing a party’s jersey. I’m wearing yours
I believe teachers should be trusted, respected, and paid like the professionals they are. I will fight for better teacher pay, stronger retention, and fewer top-down mandates that ignore what actually happens in classrooms. Decisions about education should be made with teachers, not handed down to them.
First responders carry enormous responsibility, often at great personal cost. I will support competitive pay, strong benefits, and mental health support, and I will push back against policies that ask more from them without giving enough in return. Supporting first responders isn’t political, it’s basic responsibility.
Parents deserve transparency, respect, and a real voice in their child’s education. I believe parents and teachers should be partners, not adversaries, and that the state should stay out of classrooms as much as possible while ensuring schools are fairly funded and stable.
I want Ohio to be a place where young people can build a future, not just pass through. I will fight for policies that lower cost pressures, expand opportunity, and make it easier to stay in Ohio after graduation through housing stability, job access, and community investment.
Too many people can afford a mortgage but can’t clear the down payment barrier. I support a responsible, earned path to first-time homeownership that rewards saving, includes strong safeguards, and helps people put down roots without inflating the market or creating risky giveaways.
Property taxes keep rising, often without warning, putting pressure on families who did everything right. I will work to stabilize property taxes, cap sharp annual increases, and reduce constant levy pressure while protecting school funding and long-term community stability.
Healthcare decisions belong to individuals, their doctors, and the people they trust, not politicians. I will fight for clearer insurance rules, expanded telehealth access, and lower out-of-pocket costs so people can actually use the care they’re paying for.
Local businesses are the backbone of our communities, yet they rarely get the same attention as large corporations. I will push for policies that redirect support toward local entrepreneurs, reduce unnecessary red tape, and keep Ohio’s economy growing from the ground up.
Raising a family alone takes strength, stability, and support. I will fight for policies that make work pay, reduce benefit cliffs, stabilize housing costs, and make it easier for single parents to get ahead without being punished for earning more.
Working families are doing everything they’re asked to do, yet still feel squeezed. I will focus on lowering cost pressures, stabilizing taxes, supporting schools, expanding healthcare access, and making sure the system actually works for the people who keep our communities running.
Because this isn’t about funding a politician. It’s about building something different. And it starts with you.
