I grew up here. I went to Barrington Elementary, Jones Middle School, and Upper Arlington High School. This district isn’t a talking point to me. It’s home.
I left Ohio to study journalism at the University of Missouri because I believed in telling important stories, especially the ones that don’t always get attention. During that time, I learned how much trust matters, how listening matters, and how quickly people can feel ignored when decisions are made without them.
When COVID hit, I saw that firsthand here at home. Families couldn’t attend games. Kids were playing in empty gyms. So I helped bring basketball broadcasting to Upper Arlington schools so parents, grandparents, and loved ones could still watch their kids compete. It wasn’t political. It was about showing up when people needed it.
That’s how I’ve always operated.
I came back to Upper Arlington to pursue a career in law and representation because I believe this community deserves someone who understands it, respects it, and is accountable to it. I’m not running to climb a ladder or follow a party script. I’m running because I believe representation should actually mean something.
I returned home for a reason. And I’m running for the same one.
Let’s get power back to the people,
