What I Believe

Mental health care should be easier to find, faster to start, and affordable at the point of use. Right now, too many people wait months for help or give up entirely because the system is too confusing or expensive.

What I Will Propose and Do

I will introduce the ACCESS Now Act

(Affordable Care Coverage & Expanded Services)

This would:

Require insurance plans regulated in Ohio to cover a set number of therapy sessions at
low cost
Expand telehealth access statewide
Allow supervised graduate counselors to serve clients sooner
Reduce wait times without lowering professional standards

Mental health is health. Access should feel practical, not impossible.
