Teachers are the backbone of our communities. We ask them to do more every year, and we should be honest enough to support and retain them. Education works best when teachers and parents are partners, not opponents.

What I Will Propose and Do

I will introduce the KEEP Teachers Act

(Keeping Educators Engaged & Paid)

This proposal focuses on:

Increasing state support tied to teacher retention, not mandates
Reducing early-career teacher burnout
Supporting local districts without imposing a one-size-fits-all pay structure
Ensuring education dollars prioritize classrooms first

Strong schools start with keeping great teachers in them.
